The program completely exceeded all expectations I had prior to the trip. Being in Costa Rica with other students who shared my passion for renewable energies made me realize that we can change the world. I learned so much; it was the perfect blend of education, culture and adventure. I have a huge new network of alumni and professionals, and I also made some lasting friendships. Every company I’ve interviewed with has specifically asked about the [Renewable Energy & Sustainable Development] program and my personal experiences. I loved the program so much, that I currently serve as an ambassador, along with a few other students, at Penn State (University Park). We hope to create a stronger collaboration between the university and the EartH2O program and ultimately we hope to make a lasting impact on our school. The benefits truly extend beyond 12 days. Ultimately, the program changed my outlook towards creating a greener world, and redefined my hope for developing a greener and brighter future!
